This past month of fashion marked Karlie Kloss‘ ninth season in a row, but that isn’t the only noteworthy fact about the Spring/Summer 2012 runways and Karlie Kloss. Along with being Paris Fashion Week’s most in demand model (an impressive feat considering Kate Moss, Gisele Bündchen, and Natalia Vodianova also took the Paris runways), Karlie walked a total of 34 shows throughout the entire season.
Lanvin, Jean Paul Gaultier, Gareth Pugh and Roland Mouret were amongst the designers who chose Karlie for the all-important spot of being either the opening mannequin or the closing flourish of their shows. In total, she brought her youthful swagger to fourteen Paris shows, and made an appearance at a mind-boggling number of shows during the exhausting fashion month marathon. Imagine how much make up and hair spray that would entail!
